Visit the Manatee Lagoon Eco-Discovery Center
This beautiful park takes advantage of the fact that the discharge from a nearby power plant warms the water and attracts manatees, those slow-moving herbivores forever associated with the Florida coast. Visitors can spend an afternoon watching the majestic manatees ambling about beneath the sunlit ripples.
